Step 4: Review the Online Journals Subscription Agreement
The OJSA details the terms and conditions of electronic access to SIAM journals. Institutions are required to sign and return the OJSA before their electronic subscription will be activated. We have attempted to keep the language simple and understandable and are willing to work with you to set up a mutually agreeable contract. If you already have an OJSA on file with SIAM, there is no need to complete another upon renewal. However, please be sure to contact [email protected] with any changes or additions to your IP address list.

In order for online institutional journal access to be activated you will need to complete and return the SIAM Online Journal Subscription Agreement.
Institutions choosing an academic package need to fill out the Academic Application so we know what package you want.
In order for online institutional e-book access to be activated you will need to complete and return the Online E-book Licensing Agreement to SIAM.
All journal subscriptions are on a calendar-year basis. back issues will be mailed on orders received after January 1. Prior year subscriptions will be charged at the current year's prices. Subscriber numbers (when known) should be used on all orders, inquiries, and correspondence. If order is to be billed, a purchase order must accompany it. In the event that a purchase order cannot be supplied, pre-payment is required.

Free Trial Access for Institutions
Sign up at https://siam.org/publications/siam-journals/free-trial-access-for-institutions/ to receive free access to SIAM journals for two consecutive months of your choosing. You will be able to access usage reports following your trial.SIAM e-Books
The SIAM e-book library provides access to almost every title in SIAM's 17 book series and is available for institutions to offer to their users electronically, via purchase or subscription. The collection will continue to grow year after year. Please read our FAQs, then contact SIAM so your organization can begin its online access to SIAM’s growing e-books collection as soon as possible.
Option A: Perpetual Access Purchase
This option includes perpetual access to books published in 2025 plus access to back titles.Perpetual Access Rates:

Annual maintenance fee in future years (see below): $300.00
- To continue to have Perpetual Access to books referenced above in future years via Literatum, the customer must:
- Pay $300 annual maintenance fee each year after 2024 OR
- Subscribe to at least one journal each year after 2024
- To add access to books published in future years to perpetual access via Literatum, the customer must purchase an Add-on subscription in each future year. See Option B below. Customer retains perpetual access to any titles published during Add-on subscription years.
- If customer does not pay $300, does not have another journal subscription or does not purchase an Add-on in future years, Perpetual Access to book published in 2024 and back titles will be available through Portico.
- A completed Online e-Book Licensing Agreement is required.
Option B: Perpetual Access Add-on
This option adds Perpetual Access to books published in 2025 to Perpetual Access already purchased in 2024 or before:

IP Registry: Process for Setting up Access to SIAM Publications
As of July 2022, SIAM is working with theIPregistry.org to make the process of updating IP addresses used to authenticate access to content easier for subscribers. This service allows libraries to manage their IP addresses and broadcast changes to multiple publishers from a secure, central location with one click. All IP updates must go through theIPregistry.org.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Register for free at https://app.theIPregistry.org.
- Confirm the IPs currently registered to your institution.
- To communicate any IP address updates needed, log in to your IP Registry account and add or delete the relevant IP address(es). You may be asked to supply supporting documentation, but this can be as simple as a copy of an email, or a free text explanation from an authorised user. The updates will be checked and verified before they are updated on our publishing platform, and you’ll get an immediate error message from theIPregistry.org if you try to enter an IP address that corresponds to the wrong country or is already registered to another institution.

Print Book Standing Orders
A standing order for any SIAM book series entitles the holder to every publication with that series as soon as it becomes available plus a 20% discount. It relieves buyers of frequent order writing for individual books, while ensuring that important titles in applied and computational mathematics will be on their shelves as soon as they are available. Each standing order is treated as a pre-publication order, and is automatically discounted off list prices.
Holders of standing orders are entitled to a 20% discount off list prices. This discount will also be extended to all backlisted volumes within each series for which the holder has a standing order. An institution or individual can set up a standing order for a minimum of one copy of every book published within a series.
